We’re excited to introduce you to Goldie, an AI co-pilot for sales reps. Goldie has a simple mission: help salespeople close more deals in less time. To achieve that mission, Goldie acts like a trusted AI that is always there for reps, helping them to sell more effectively and removing friction from their day-to-day lives.
In recent weeks, we onboarded our first group of charter customers. We’re working with them to build a product that sales reps love. Over the next few months, we’ll onboard additional sales teams as charter customers, and, later this year, any rep who wants a co-pilot to help them sell will be able to sign up to use Goldie.
Being a sales rep is really hard. The constant pressure to hit the number in a challenging, complex environment can be overwhelming. Sales leadership (myself included) spent the last 12 years trying to fix this. We threw everything we could at sales - massive amounts of tech, data, people, methodologies, management, enablement, metrics, oversight, and administration. Our mandate was growth at any cost and we went for it.
Yet in an effort to make things better, we may have made them worse. We complicated sales reps’ lives to the point of failure. We somehow found a way to make our reps less productive! Today, reps only spend 30-35% of their time actually selling. 89% of salespeople claim to be burnt out. Last quarter, 57% of reps missed quota. That’s just not sustainable. There must be a better way.
That’s why we’re building Goldie - to fix these problems, so sales reps become more productive.
Goldie is a new kind of sales technology, unlike any sales tech you’ve used before. We can’t reveal too much, but think of Goldie as a co-pilot for salespeople that helps them close more deals. How does it do this? It starts with Goldie’s ability to understand what’s happening across your sales opportunities. Based on what it detects, Goldie then suggests and executes proven sales plays on behalf of sales reps. At the same time, Goldie is continuously automating many of the menial, time-consuming tasks that distract reps from actual selling.
Finally, Goldie is not another sales application that reps need to log-in to. Forcing sellers to use another technology is a non-starter. That’s why Goldie meets reps where they are, in the applications and tools that they already use. Think of Goldie as an ambient UX that doesn’t require sellers to learn and use another sales technology.
Right now, Goldie is available to our charter customers, a select group of sales teams that use the product and provide us with feedback on our product strategy and roadmap. If you’d like to apply to be a Charter Customer, just email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Later this year, we’ll make Goldie available to any sales rep who wants an AI co-pilot to help them sell. If you’d like to get early access later this year, sign up at goldie.ai.
Let’s see what Goldie thinks of all this by asking it a few questions (we spent some time training Goldie to answer some basic questions about itself)…

I am currently working with Charter Customers. Salespeople at these Charter Customers use me on a daily basis and provide feedback so that I can learn more about sales and how salespeople work. Later this year, I will be made available to any salesperson that wants a personal co-pilot to help them sell more effectively.
At this time, I am only available to Charter Customers that I am currently working with. However, if you are interested in working with me, you can contact Scott and express your interest in becoming a Charter Customer. He will be happy to provide you with more information about how I can assist you and help you improve your sales performance.
